TALLERES DE FOTOGRAFÍA SOCIAL
Los Talleres de Fotografía Social es un proyecto inspirado en Tafos de Perú, fundado por el fotógrafo alemán Thomas Müller. Los Talleres están dirigidos a grupos sociales o comunidades distintas que cuentan la historia de su lugar a partir de sus propias miradas, siendo ellos, las personas, los que fotografían su realidad.
Los Talleres de Fotografía Social se canalizan a través del Centro de Difusión y Estudios de la Fotografía y cuentan con el apoyo principal de la Fundación Hasselblad en sus inicios y luego con instituciones como DED, cooperación alemana, entre otros.
Los proyectos se realizan entre los años 1993 y 1999 y suman más de 15 proyectos, en lugares como Lota, poblaciones La Faena, La Pincoya, Lo Hermida, La Chimba, la Victoria, entre otras.
El archivo, a partir del año 2016, se encuentra en la Biblioteca Nacional de Chile.
Social Photography Workshops is a project inspired by Tafos of Peru, founded by German photographer Thomas Müller. Workshops were aimed for different social groups or communities that tell the story of their places from their own looks, with themselves photographing reality.
The Social Photography Workshops are channeled through the Center for Diffusion and Studies of Photography and have the main support of the Hasselblad Foundation in the beginning and then with institutions such as DED, German cooperation, among others.
More than 15 projects were carried out between 1993 and 1999 in places such as Lota, La Pincoya, Lo Hermida, La Chimba, Victoria, among others.
